The position of goalie has an inherent romanticism: masked men clad with cool armor, serving as the last line of defense. They play entire games, with an unparalleled ability to impact outcomes. When they're on, they can single-handedly defeat a giant foe. They are the consummate underdogs and towering superheroes all at once.

Jonas Hiller, 2013-14 Mask
Jonas Hiller of the Anaheim Ducks (born Feb. 12, 1982 in Felben Wellhausen, Switzerland.) Artist: Alec Voggel of Airexx mask studio Hiller seems to be wearing the same mask as last season found here.
Airxess have become the masters of using flat colours in their mask painting, they also do a similar effect with Reto Berra of the Calgary Flames / Abbotsford Heat. They are basically THE mask makers of Professional Swiss goalies.

Thanks very much. Maybe once I get through all the goalies for this NHL season, I'll take a look back at the Olympic gear from that year. Better late than never! :)
